Dr. Carlos Coello is a distinguished dentist with a deep commitment to providing exceptional care through advanced training and education. A Southern California native, Dr. Coello graduated from Huntington Beach High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Pre-Dental Sciences from California State University, Long Beach. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1989.
With a passion for continuing education, Dr. Coello has achieved the prestigious designations of Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (F.I.C.O.I.) and Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (F.A.A.I.P.). These honors reflect his dedication to staying at the forefront of dental innovations and ensuring his patients receive the most advanced treatment options available.
Dr. Coello is an active member of several renowned professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP).
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Coello shares a rich personal and professional life with his wife, Dr. Karen Kaiser-Coello, whom he met in dental school. Together, they have two sons, Dr. Ryan Coello and Dr. Anthony Coello, who have proudly joined the family practice. With his sons continuing the legacy, Dr. Coello is excited to provide outstanding dental care to the community for many years to come.

I took my elderly aunt to Dr. Coello and he examined her with such care and professionalism. He explained his findings to her with careful thought and referred her to an oral surgeon whom he personally reached out to to discuss my aunt’s situation. He then personally called the following day to make sure my aunt felt ok and that the oral surgeon’s office had reached out to us. We have never experienced this type of personal service, compassion and kindness. Thank you Dr. Coello!

Dr. Carlos Coello is one of the kindest people I have ever encountered. His approach to dentistry is conservative and he only performs work that is necessary. He provides a very detailed and easy to understand explanation of the dental situation. Everyone I had an interaction with was kind and helpful. I don’t mind that it is nearly an hour drive to see Dr. Coello. It is well worth it!
