Dr. Karen Kaiser-Coello, D.M.D.

Dr. Karen Kaiser-Coello is originally from Belleville, Illinois where she attended high school and was very involved in both academics and sports. She was a member of the National Honors Society and awarded the distinctive honor of St. Louis Post Dispatch Scholar-Athlete in 1976. Dr. Karen graduated from Illinois College in 1980 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Karen was awarded the Gerald A. Lucas Prize in Biological Science and the Dorothy Hopper Award in Athletics in 1980.

After two years of Cancer Research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Karen was accepted into the Dental School at Washington University in 1982. While in Dental School, she met her husband, Dr. Carlos. After graduating in 1986, Dr. Karen worked as an associate in St. Louis until 1989 when Dr. Carlos graduated from dental school at which time they moved to Florida.

Dr. Karen gives back to the community through her membership in the Florida Donated Dental Services program in association with the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Karen is part of a network of dentists and laboratory technicians throughout Florida that volunteer their time and practice to provide comprehensive dental care to people of all ages who, because of a serious disability, advanced age, or medical problems, lack adequate income to pay for needed dental care.
